Niddhi’s journey began in Delhi in 2005, when she launched her own garment export house. Her designs reached the USA and were showcased at MAGIC Apparel, the world’s largest fashion trade fair. With a NIFT fashion background and an MBA in International Business, she carved her own path across continents.
Her story took vibrant detours — exploring the electronics markets in China, running garment exports in Dubai, and growing a gifting business alongside her family’s electronics empire. By the time she landed in Melbourne in August 2022, she had already spent two decades as a bold and resilient entrepreneur.
Spirit of Diwali — Her Calling Card to Australia
Arriving in a new city with no network, Niddhi could have played it safe. Instead, just two months later, she launched Spirit of Diwali (SOD) — a boutique showcase with 20 vendors and 400 visitors. It wasn’t just an event; it was her introduction to Australia.
From that moment, SOD became more than a festive market — it became a movement of culture, commerce, and connection. In just a few years, it has grown into a premium platform that blends tradition with modern luxury.

“Events aren’t just about what people see. They’re about what they feel. That feeling stays long after the last light fades,” she says.
