Switzerland is often called Heaven on Earth. It’s home to crystal clear lakes, picturesque villages and high peaks of the Alps. Whether summer or winter, it’s unique beauty never ceases to amaze you. We have visited Switzerland in both summer and winter and it’s beauty had us spellbound both the times.

Be it taking a boat cruise on Lake Brienz and Lake Zurich, exploring the dreamy village of Grindelwald, walking along the shores of Lake Geneva at Lausanne or playing with snow in Bern, we savoured each and every experience. The small historic village of St.

Saphorin with its winding cobbled alleys and a mosaic of multi coloured roofs was a sight to behold. The medieval architecture of Lucerne, the famous Chapel Bridge and the sights of the mounts Pilatus and Rigi were indescribably fascinating.

The same places have a different beauty in winter. The landscape sparkles under fresh coats of snow turning it into a winter wonderland. You can have fun playing, gliding and sliding in the snow and wash your strains away at the end of the day with a thermal bath.

Switzerland is one country, which the more you visit the more you keep yearning to go back. We can’t wait to re-visit it yet one more time!
